No. The Greek Explorer Program is designed to support children starting from the beginning and help them build their Greek skills step by step. Your child can begin with Level 1 and continue progressing as they learn.
2. Is this live tutoring or self-paced learning?
The Greek Explorer Program is primarily self-paced. Your child works through the lessons and activities at their own pace and around your family's schedule. It is not a weekly live class or traditional tutoring program. Your plan also includes two 30-minute progress check-ins with Maria each month to review your child's progress and provide personalized guidance.
3. How does the monthly progress check-in work?
Your plan includes two 30-minute progress check-ins with Maria each month via Zoom. These sessions are an opportunity to review your child's progress, talk about their learning, celebrate what they've accomplished, and identify areas that may need extra attention.
For the 1-child plan, each check-in is a one-on-one session with your child. For family plans, siblings can join the sessions together, allowing Maria to review each child's progress and provide guidance tailored to their individual needs.
4. Do I need to speak Greek to support my child?
No. You do not need to speak Greek or become your child's Greek teacher. The lessons are already organized and designed to guide your child through the learning process. You can be as involved as you want — whether that's simply encouraging your child, checking in on what they're learning, or joining them from time to time.
